Heat Test on Perforated Boots
All Majyk Equipe Boots are designed with a perforated inner bio-foam. Bio-foam is a non-neoprene material designed to help prevent heat build up. Unlike neoprene, it is also anti-microbial and does not harbor bacteria and fungus in the same way that neoprene liners can. This results in a more sanitary and comfortable eco-system for your horse's legs.

Mean Minimum and Maximum temperatures of skin surface according to type of boot for 129 horses upon completion of the cross country phase of a one day event.
"Distribution of temperatures under the tendon boots at the finish line of
two Cross Country Events (BE 100 - 3 day event with roads and tracks,
n=61; CCI* = 2 day show jumping and cross country short format event,
n=69)There was a significantly lower temperature under perforated boots
compared to open-fronted tendon boots (p<0.001) and compared to
traditional boots (p<0.001)."
*All Majyk Equipe boots including our open front tendon boots have
a perforated liner and are fully ventilated. The results shown here are
for another brand's regular open front tendon boots without perforated
liners.
